Generational Differences in the Workplace

Practical and theory-based generational management training - without the hype or the hate.

There will be 6 different Lesson modules in the course.  Each Lesson contains:

  1. a 20(ish) minute video presenting the content of the lesson
  2. a quiz to check your understanding of the content
  3. one or more accompanying activities/exercises (to complete individually or in a group)
  4. resources and/or handouts to go with the topic of the lesson
  5. a list of supplemental reading materials if you want to learn more.

Additionally, the program provides a 70-page e-book on Generational Differences in the Workplace, available upon completion of Lesson 7.

As indicated by the title, this course is about cutting through all the hype on this topic. As such, you will not find any poorly acted vignettes of Boomers struggling to deal with "those darned Millennials," or any patronizing advice about how to adjust everything to be Millennial-centric. The truth is, generational differences are real, and if you just take time to understand them--even down to the level of theory--then suddenly these differences become a resource you can leverage, rather than that annoying topic at the all-staff meeting.

In the end, you're getting about a half-day's worth of good content here, and we're giving it to you straight (and even with a bit of a sense of humor). We've broken the content into pieces that individually won't take up too much of your time, so you can be flexible in terms of the delivery. And since this was based on a live course that we've been delivering for years, it really does work well to have a whole team take this at the same time so you can do the exercises together and have some rich discussions about how to apply all this. Thanks for joining us on this journey.
